The Lake Country 5-inch velcro hook & loop backing plate is the perfect match with your Porter-Cable 7424XP, Griots Garage DA Polisher or Meguiar's MT-300 DA polisher. Use this backing plate with 5.5-inch to 6.5-inch pads. No need to change the counterweight either. This backing plate is large enough to stabilize the pad, but small enough to provide an adequate buffer zone between the edge of the foam pad and the molded urethan constructed backing plate.
