I had a few difficult water spots on the hood of my black Audi. Meguiar's took care of the spots where other products failed. I used a white lake country pad on a DA. Some spots came off in 2 to 4 passes, others required 2 or 3 more applications. It would have probably gone faster if I used an orange pad, but I wanted to be less aggressive on the clear coat. One thing to note is that if you have dark paint then you will need to follow up with a good polish to clean up the light swirls this product will leave on your finish. I expected to follow up with polish and I don't see this as a failure of the product. I was skeptical in buying a product only costing $10, but this proves that you don't always have to spend a lot of $ for good results.
